Artist's Comments
It started out as a close up of Mai with Azula sneering in the back. She is probably asking Mai if she knew beforehand that Zuko would betray her. I noticed tension between the two through the third season and I think Mai and Azula will have some sort of a fight.
I don't really Mai but I found her fun to draw, so I might draw more of her. Ty Lee could be better and I totally screwed Azula up. *ducks lightning bolts* She is one of my favorites from the Fire Nation.
I don't have much else to say about it but I don't like it much.
And Mai, Ty Lee, and Azula belong to Mike and Brian

Mai-Azula betrayal is inevitable. Only question is when, where, and if one of them won't be coming out of that battle alive.

The answer to Katara's "ambiguous" look is obvious. Clearly, she imagined that Aang was just a better kisser than that.
What I would like to see in the final battle is Azula going to attack Zuko but Mai stopping her. Then both Zuko and Mai keep Azula busy so she doesn't zap Aang again while he's fighting Ozai. But its just a fangirl hope I guess.
